Rust server — hardcore survival by your rules
Rust is the ultimate hardcore survival game. Your own dedicated server gives you control over wipe cycles, gather rates, group limits and plugins — perfect for PvP, PvE or roleplay communities.
Rust servers need power! For 50+ players we recommend at least 8 GB RAM. Map size and plugin count additionally affect RAM requirements.
Basic configuration
Order and start the server
Order your Rust server at Agrar Chaoten. The first start generates the map and can take 5-10 minutes.
Adjust the server settings
In the server.cfg:

The web interface often has a one-click installation for Oxide. Alternatively, upload the Oxide files into the server folder via FTP.

Download plugins from umod.org and copy the .cs files into the /oxide/plugins/ folder.

Wipe management
Rust wipes regularly — on the first Thursday of every month there's a force wipe (mandatory). In between, you can schedule your own wipes:
Weekly wipes keep the community active. Monthly wipes allow for more base building. Communicate the wipe cycle clearly in the server name.
