## CS2 Server — Competitive & Casual on Your Terms

Your own Counter-Strike 2 server gives you full control over game modes, maps and settings. Ideal for clan practice, community servers or retake/deathmatch rounds.

## Setting Up the Server

**1. Order your server**

Order your [CS2 server at Agrar Chaoten](https://agrarchaoten.com/gameserver). You'll receive the IP, port and RCON access.

**2. Create a Game Server Login Token (GSLT)**

For a public CS2 server you need a GSLT from Steam:

- Go to **steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers**
- Enter app ID **730**
- Generate the token and enter it in the web interface

**3. Choose a game mode**

CS2 supports various modes controlled via launch parameters:

CS2 Workshop maps can be loaded via a collection ID:

- Create a Workshop collection on Steam
- Enter the collection ID in the web interface
- Maps are downloaded automatically when the server starts

**128 tick recommended:** For competitive play, set `-tickrate 128`.

**Practice config:** Create a separate config for practice sessions with infinite money and nades.
